Design Portfolio

As a web developer I love to design as much as I like to code. What I can't do myself, I am able to get done by own network of secret underground coders. If I am not fixing computers I am making webpages. I like the ability to create a virtual structure almost like an architect, just without the construction team.

You can use the section below to jump right to any particular project. You will then be able to view more details. Have fun and if there is anything we can help you with, feel free to contact us.

william denardo law

This is a project for a Philadelphia Criminal Law Attorney I did for Linked IT Solutions. This uses CSS, JQuery, and some flash to help flesh out the page. It has SEO optimizations and is multi-browser compliant. I used very little Flash and more CSS with some jquery wizardy to make this site stand out. This project was completed in August of 2009.

Savage Investment Group, LLC

This project is for a young investment business group I did in 2009. It was made for a more corporate look with a GUI that gets to the point. This was done with nothing but hand-coded markup.

I used a fair bit of css and made use of some jquery lightbox plugins to enahnce certain areas. It has a password protected area where other applications are stored but unfortunately cannot be viewed by the public.

jmeezy "95 express"

This is a project for an upcoming hip hop artist based out of Providence, Rhode Island. This website uses CSS, XHTML, JS, and a bit of Flash for the video player. This is a one-page design that is styled in a simple manner but keeping a grungy look. The hosting for this project is being finalized on my end and will be a live site soon.

linked it solutions

This is a project I did with full blown seo, flash, xhtml, and css elements. The design was handled by a third party designer and myself to create its unique look. It has evolved over time and now has a better frontpage flash banner that I designed and some tweaks to the services area with help from an LITS in-house designer. This project was completed in August of 2009 and has been updated as early as January of 2010.

bespokenbelize.com

This is a project for an travel management company that needed a quick turnaround time and needed a site that can grow as its business grows. I was able to use optimizations that allowed the site to load 300% faster than its older incarnations. The code is the usual mix of XHTML, CSS, Flash, and AJAX. Also some on-page SEO optimization was also done to strengthen it's search engine rankings.

allxenio.com

This is Xenio's personal site. This is also kind of like a playground for trying out new markup and styling. The site changes alot. Right now it's designed as a single landing-page type... kinda like the ones you see for movie trailers, just without the quicktime movie. He last updated the design back in march of 2009. He did however let the domain expire but the title still fits.

j2p slide (2006-2009)

This was the last design of the webpage before the current one kicked it out of relevance. It was designed when I first made the switch to using more AJAX in my projects. As you can see, I love the color blue and it tends to show in most iterations of this site. Another thing to note is that due to the nature of this implementation i can have music playign throughout the website. RIP J2P Slide v2.0.

j2p palma (2005-06)

This is another previous version of this site and has been kept mainly for archival(nostalgia) purposes. This was around the time when I first started to mess with CSS/XHTML. Only the front page is accessible for now. But it has a pretty tight flash and css integration. The scroll on the right was inpired by an older nokia landing page that is no longer online.

j2p-noire (2003-05)

This is an archived version of j2ponline that has a black & white theme and is entirely in flash. This is the oldest J2P design in this portfolio before CSS became popular and when all-flash sites were all the rage. My how times have changed.

Strategic Insight Consulting

This is a full design by I did in 2008 and I did this for a colleague that needed something simple, quick, and budget-friendly. I also set up all the hosting and domain parameters. This is a pretty simple design with a non-standard layout that works well for the client-focused methodology.

Young District

This was a project back in 2007 for a young upcoming photographer that is very talented. All photos are © Young District and if you need any work done by him, contact me because he's worth it. I like the darker aspect of this theme so I kept it around for achival purposes. This is mostly flash with a fullscreen focused design.

Drexel SHPE

This is a full design by me and I used to admin the site on a year to year basis. This is for a student group within in Drexel U. Right now it is undergoing a major re-design. I have the proposed re-design listed here for archival purposes as its go-live date is TBA.

FisherFunk

Fisher is a local Funk band hailing from Philadelphia. I was contracted to handle the blog section of this artist's site. The idea was to keep a "funky" feel to it and for it to stand out. This also incorporates a mobile version that is especially formatted for the iPhone but works on any mobile device.
